Riley and Izaak are getting very excited about their dance recital which is this weekend. They both danced at the nursing home this weekend and did a great job.
On August 5th Izaak will be having his tonsils and adenoids out as well as having his tongue and the skin on his lower lip clipped. Recovery will be about a week. The doctor told him that he will get to eat icecream and icepops for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so he is very excited about the surgery. Allan and I. . . not so much. The whole thing should take less then 45 minutes but we're still worried about the anesthetic. We'll be happy when it's over!
We are also happy that Izaak got into Pre-K next year. He will be going to school with me and then taking the bus back to Diana's house. His school day will be from 9-11:30. He'll also be getting speech, OT, and PT.
Riley also had her meeting and she will be getting speech and social work (play therapy) during her week. She will be going to school from 9-3:30. (I still can't believe she'll be in Kindergarten next year!)
So we have lots of things to prepare for. Busy as always. Life now revolves around the kids and Allan and I are just hanging on for the ride (but we wouldn't have it any other way)!

Hi Michelle....aww, that is so sweet that the kids danced in the nursing home. Wonderful to teach them that there are others out there who need attention.
Boy, Izaak has a big summer coming up. I know it is very hard not to worry, but he will be fine. We will say extra prayers for him.
That is great that they both will be getting the services they need this September. It is also great that they both will be in the same school as their mommy. Excellent!
