Happy Thanksgiving!

We all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We first went to celebrate with the King Family and then went to my mother's to celebrate with my family.

Today we had a fun time in the parade of lights. The children dressed up as a living nativity. Riley was Mary and Izaak was Joseph. They'll be in the Christmas pageant in a few weeks playing the same parts. My Father did a beautiful job putting the float together! It was definitely one of the highlights of the parade and the kids had so much fun!

Carving Pumpkins

Riley and Izaak had alot of fun carving their pumpkins this year. Of course Izaak picking his hero (Oogy Boogy from the Nightmare Before Christmas) and Riley pick a halloween cat.

Apple/Pumpkin picking and a trip to Olana

The kids had lots of fun picking apples and picking their pumpkins this year. Every year the pumpkins need to be larger and larger. Riley couldn't even carry her pumpkin! We went to Olana after to go for a walk and look at the leaves changing. It was beautiful!

Happy Birthday 5th Izaak!

Izaak has grown so much this year. This past year has been full of excitment from dance recitals, going to disney world, and starting Kindergarten. My baby is turning into such a kind, caring, and fun little boy!

First Day of School!

It's official. . . Riley is now a first grader and Izaak is in Kindergarten. They had a wonderful time at the first day celebration. They both held their class's banner in the parade. Riley has the next two days off and then begins full time on Friday. His official first day pictures will be posted then!

Mother's Day Gift

The Sunflowers that Izaak planted me at school for mother's day have finally bloomed. He is very proud!

A Day At The Lake

Happy that the rain has stopped for at least one day we went to the lake to enjoy the sun!

Riley's fractured elbow

Riley fractured her elbow by falling out of a power wheel jeep at a birthday party on Saturday. On Sunday morning we went to the emergency room and on Monday we went to see a specialist. She has to wear a sling for the next four weeks and go back a few times for x-rays (the break is right by the growth plate so they have to watch it). She has to be very careful not to fall or bang it because if it breaks worse she will have to get a hard cast which means lots of therapies after. She's already very frustrated that she can't do everything she wants.

Izaak lost his first tooth (teeth)!

Izaak lost his first tooth today! He was so excited he couldn't stop playing with the loose tooth that was next to it and within an hour that one was out too! I can't believe how fast my babies are growing!

Our Trip to Disney

We had a wonderful time at Disney this past week. The weather was very hot. The kids had a lot of fun dressing up as Jasmine and Captain Jack Sparrow. We spend seven days going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Downtown Disney with dogs made of legos.

Riley and Izaak opening Chef Mickey's. It was very exciting that Riley and Izaak were picked to open the restaurant that night. They even signed Mickey's autograph book!
