Recital rehearsal

Riley and Izaak did a wonderful job at their recital. They were so proud of themselves and had every right to be. They began with "Be Our Guest" from the Beauty and the Beast. Izaak did a wonderful job as a candelabra and Riley looked like a professional ballerina doing her moves. Riley then dance her ballet dance to "Strawberry Shortcake". Izaak moved in a few songs later with "Hey Good Lookin'". After intermission they did their solo together which the crowed seemed to love. Riley then tapped out to "Lollipop" and Izaak showed off his moved to "Chicken Soup". The entire dance school finished the show by dancing together to "Halo". Riley and Izaak were also very excited to receive special metals for having perfect attendance this year. We all agree that they had so much fun and did such a wonderful job that not only will they dance again next year but they'll also do another solo together!

Memorial Day Parade

Riley and Izaak were in the Catskill Memorial Day Parade for Sunday School. They were both very excited to walk in the parade. Riley waved to all the people as she walked by.

Down by the River

On Saturday we had Allan's cousin Lauren and her husband Mike over. They have not seen each other in years. We went down to the river to hang out.

Dion and Fran's Wedding

On Friday, May 22nd 2009, Dion and Fran were married. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was great. Allan did a nice job on his toast. Both Dion and Fran looked amazing and were beaming with happiness!

Father-Daughter Dance

Riley and Allan went to the Father-Daughter Dance on Friday. Riley got her hair done for the special night. She was so excited. They danced a little but spent most of the night with Riley's best friend Emily and the snack table.

Izaak hung out with Gampy that night. All we hear about is how they went to Wallmart and he got to pick out any kind of dessert he wanted and that they played Gampy's Indiana Jones video game.
